Your Role

As a systems engineer at Saab Dynamics, Missile Systems, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape the future of defense technology. You will be a key person in the development of advanced missile systems and Mission Planning solutions, where you actively contribute to the project's success and technical development.

You will work with Mission Planning for Taurus, a high-tech long-range missile system that represents the forefront of precision and range for air-to-ground missiles. This includes features such as route planning, both optimization and manual planning, simulation of the flight path and/or environment, enemy movements and threats, tactical considerations like "How does my opponent think?" or "How do we maximize the performance of the system we are planning for?" This involves concrete development of new, and fine-tuning of existing algorithms (both advanced physical and mathematical models) in the ADA language.

The project places very high demands on accuracy, modular design, and technical innovation, making every task both complex and stimulating.

As a systems engineer, you have a central role in our projects, where you contribute with a holistic perspective and have the opportunity to analyze and understand customer needs, manage requirements, and document technical specifications to guide the development process. Other tasks include having technical responsibility and ownership for a system, as well as analyzing functions and performance. You will be an important link between customers and developers, ensuring that the system meets high quality and performance standards.

You will operate across many technical areas, and your contact points within the company will be broad. To assist you, we have structured processes and method descriptions in our internal databases.

Your Profile

A suitable educational background is a Master's degree in Engineering Physics or equivalent.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
